2、纤维板的选择  五星级酒店用大型桌子定制时也常常会选用纤维板，纤维板与刨花板相比表面较为平整，稳定性和承重性良好，其内部结构紧密，不易疏松，维持原状的能力很强，不管是在强度上还是在硬度上都比刨花板更加合适。纤维板是由粉末状的木纤维高温压制而成，不易变形，便于拆装运输，而且市面上常用三聚氰胺对纤维板进行加工，因此纤维板又有了有防潮，耐磨、耐高温的优点，但是由于加工精细投入大成本高，纤维板的价格比较高。

3、细木工板的选择  还有一种材料是细木工板，我们又可以把它叫做大芯板，这种材质主要是利用天然的旋切单板与实木拼板经过涂胶、热压等程序制作而成的板材。对于细木工板的制作方法可以分为两种，分为机器拼制和手工拼制，手工拼制的方法主要是利用人力将木条镶嵌在木条的夹板中，但是这种方法做出来的细木工板受挤压能力较差，不适合作为据切加工的材料。但是机器拼制出来的板材就没有这种缺点，相反它的称重能力很强且不易变形。
